Terrific Kids

Terrific Kids at Churchill Elementary in Rochester Minnesota
Two Sunriser volunteers visit Churchill Elementary School to award selected students with a Kiwanis Terrific Kids Certificate, pencil, stickers and more.

This unique experience happens only once a month during the school year, so it is strongly encourage that volunteers sign up early to see: 

  • 300 kids say the Pledge of Allegiance
  • Kids suprised to hear their names called for the award 
  • 300 kids sing seasonal songs
  • 300 kids so happy to celebrate life
All of our members are encouraged to give this experience a try, as the rewards are memorable.
